Crain’s was one of the early pioneers in the digital journalism revolution, smartly claiming a great URL and cranking out late-breaking business news before any other sources. This is the campaign that launched the site to the Chicago business community. We found these interesting stock photos and created storylines and characters around them, positioning the site as a good way to stay smart and informed versus less noble means of corporate survival. Since it was one of the first campaigns ever created by Tom, Dick & Harry, it will always have a warm place in our hearts, along with that creepy suck-up named Haskins (see below). The work ran in Crain’s print magazine and in key out-of-home locations around the Loop.
