Digital, Branding, Design
This music and entertainment event company asked us to design a site for streaming live shows on a pay-per-view basis. We found plenty of inspiration and patina in the dark, smoky auditoriums where the madness unfolds. Item one was designing a 3-D logo to replicate the marquis at a legendary concert hall. Next was to craft a site experience that feels nocturnal, gritty, primetime and cocktail inducing. All that’s missing is a sticky floor and $128 seats. A Grammy-award winning producer supervises the streamed broadcasts. Virtual concert goers get access to behind-the-scenes features on the bands. Twitter feeds let them interact with other fans. Plus music and merchandise can be purchased on the spot. The site is optimized to deliver HD content to laptops, tablets, phones or AirPlay-enabled big screen televisions. Why would anyone go to a live show when streaming feels this authentic? Grab a drink, a virtual date and stay home.
