Name a steadier growth industry than hair? Okay, maybe mortuary, but that sucks. Wahl has been helping gentlemen look their best since 1919 when Leo Wahl started making barber clippers in Sterling, Illinois. Today, they’re the world leader, distributing in 165 countries. Our assignment was to launch a new professional cordless clipper in top international markets. The fade-cut hairstyle is the in-look across the globe, skillfully coiffed by well-tatted barbers everywhere. When has the world agreed this much on anything? The idea needed to transcend borders without relying on voiceover, playing as well in Peking as Sterling. Our social campaign celebrates the new clipper as the ultimate pro’s pro tool for this popular cut. And it was created and produced entirely by TDH’s in-house content studio—cutting costs as well as the clipper cuts hair.
